Clearwater is a coastal install, and that changes the hardware more than the design. Salt air and steady Gulf wind are hard on retail light strands and on the connections between them, which is why displays here use commercial-grade LEDs with outdoor-rated junctions and why mid-season maintenance is included rather than sold separately.
Salt air is the reason cheap lights fail here. On Island Estates, Sand Key, and anywhere near the intracoastal, salt accelerates corrosion at every connection point. Retail strands typically fail at the plug, not the bulb. Commercial-grade sets with weather-rated junctions are the difference between a display that lasts the season and one that goes dark in December.
Wind exposure changes how things are secured. Steady onshore wind puts constant load on every run. Spacing, clip density, and how the runs are terminated all get adjusted for exposed elevations, and anything that shifts during the season gets corrected at no charge as part of the install.
Palms are the signature look. Clearwater properties are palm-heavy, and warm-white trunk wrapping reads as high-end from a block away. On waterfront lots it's often more visible than the roofline, particularly where the house sits low or behind landscaping.
Tile and metal roofs need non-penetrating attachment. Coastal Pinellas has a high share of barrel tile and standing-seam metal. Neither takes a standard clip. Attachment is matched to the surface so nothing is drilled into a roof that's already fighting salt exposure.
One price, everything handled
Every Clearwater display is quoted as one all-inclusive seasonal price, and that price covers all of the following. There are no per-visit service fees, no takedown charge, and no storage bill in January.
